01/06/2023 at 18:00 by Sara Petzold – After 1.5 years and 500 hours of work, the German cosplayer Kamui has completed an impressive mammoth project: a cosplay that combines the two Blizzard franchises Diablo and Overwatch. The outfit called “Demonic Brigitte” caused enthusiasm nationally and internationally.
It took 500 hours and then it was finally finished: Kamui’s “Demonic Brigitte” cosplay. The German cosplayer, whose real name is Svetlana and who, together with her boyfriend Benni, is responsible for the elaborate costumes at Kamui Cosplays, announced the completion of her major project via Twitter a little over a year ago. Fans were then enthusiastic – and the result can really be seen, which is why we want to introduce you to the cosplay again (via PC Games).
1.5 years of work and 1,000 LEDs for one of the best cosplays ever
You can see how breathtakingly well Kamui staged the “Demonic Brigitte”, which merges the Overwatch character with the Diablo universe, on Svetlana’s Twitter profile:

The cosplay itself is based on fan artwork by Zach Fischer and, according to Kamui, consists of an “ass full of foam” and more than 1,000 LEDs, which the cosplayer assembled within 16 months. She also shared a video of her cosplay in action on Instagram and wrote:
“My personal monster was the completion of “Demonic Brigitte”, which easily cost me more than 500 hours of work spread over 1.5 years. This project particularly showed me that it is worth fighting for your own dreams and aiming high. I struggled a lot during that time, but in the end I was incredibly proud that I didn’t give up.”
