Valve announced the locations where the Majors will be held Dota 2 this year. In Lima, Peru, the teams will fight from February 24 to March 5. In Berlin, the teams will fight from April 28 to May 7. And in Bali, the tournament will be held from June 30 to July 9.
The best teams based on the results of the Dota Pro Circuit regional leagues, which will be held in January, March and May, will go to the competition. In each region, the teams will compete for $500,000 and rating points.
Based on the results of three seasons, the participants of The International 12 will be determined – these will be the teams with the most points. It is also possible that Valve will hold additional qualifications.
Note that the Dota Pro Circuit regional league has already started in China. In Eastern and Western Europe, North and South America, and Southeast Asia, the leagues start from January 8 to 10.
