Tonight, the first racket of the world, Iga Sventek, lost to Jessica Pegula 2:6, 2:6 in the United Cup team tournament.
During the match, the Polish tennis player covered herself with a towel and cried:
“I just felt helpless today as I was not able physically and mentally to find my game and overcome the difficulties. So it’s always hard when you lose, especially when you play for the team and your country,” Sventek commented on her tears.
