01/07/2023 at 09:37 by Stefan Brunk – On January 6, 2023, the first patch notes for update 6.3 “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble” appeared on the official Final Fantasy 14 website. Even if these are not quite complete, they give a good insight into the new content and what requirements it requires.
Patch 6.3 “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble” for Final Fantasy 14 is scheduled for release on January 10, 2023. The preliminary patch notes have now been published, in which you will once again find a comprehensive overview of all the new content. As usual, these are only preliminary, as some details, such as the new artisan recipes, are still missing.
Item levels of the new content
In addition to the content already announced, the preliminary patch notes also contain a lot of new information. So now we know that the new stage of the Alliance Raid of the Myths of Eorzea requires an item level of 595. You can already enter the new dungeon of the main scenario with an item level of 590. It gets a little more complicated with the epic version of the trial battle, which requires your gear to be at least 610.
A lot more to learn
However, there is also a lot more we learn from the patch notes. Among other things, we can take a first look at the new Viera hairstyles and also at the new equipment sets that can be crafted or found in the dungeons. You will also find extensive explanations of many small changes, such as the assistant system or the fisherman directory.

Here is the note again that this update will also appear in several parts and does not yet have all the content from Patch 6.3 ready. The new ultimate test “Omega fatal” will only come into play two weeks later with patch 6.31. We have to wait until patch 6.35 for other content, such as the new Deep Vault, Hildibrand or the daily tasks of the Loporrit.
