Ukrainian welterweight boxer Karen Chukhajian (21-1, 11 KOs) shared his expectations for the upcoming fight against American Jaron Ennis (29-0, 27 KOs).
“I am very motivated for this fight. I have a lot to prove in my first fight in the USA. It’s definitely going to be a tough fight, but I’m ready for it. I’m ready to come and win. I see this fight as a challenge. I was waiting to improve the quality of my opponents. I’ve wanted to fight a guy like Ennis for a long time and I’ll be ready for him. I am going to the USA not for a salary, but to give everyone a good fight. I won’t give up until I reach my goal.”
The fight between Chukhadzhyan and Ennis will take place on the night of January 8 on the undercard of the fight between Gervonta Davis and Hector Luis Garcia.
