Brief introduction
This is a show with three stories, written by Argentine authors Juan Enrique Acuña (journalist and writer, 1915-1988), Luis Marcelo Claeyssen (known as Lucho, master of puppet theater) and Roberto Espina (actor and director, 1926-2017 ). Teresa Gafeira brought to life on stage an old miser, a rooster who wanted teeth and a mama’s boy who, just because, treated the watermelons in the backyard badly.
The first story is about someone very cheap, that is, someone who doesn’t want to spend any money, in order to earn more and more (there are people like that, in life). Someone who likes money so much that he caresses it coin by coin and doesn’t mind eating horrible soup once a week. Until something happens: magic. The second story is about a rooster, grandson of a general and a generala, who wants teeth so badly that he ends up getting a dentist bear to pull out a very big and very old tooth that the rooster didn’t have (!) in his mouth , and which belonged to another animal. The third story is about a misbehaving, gluttonous, sleepy, tantrum, lazy boy who disobeys his mother and has the habit of being very brave. This boy’s name is Chur rinche and the public will have to take care of him and the watermelons too, because the boy, poor thing, can’t handle it. But it will not be necessary to leave the place, because everything will be done in a remote and collaborative way between the public and the boy.
