A CES 2023 brought us several new products for the home such as the new range of vacuum cleaners Roborock S8, complete with a new cleansing base, the RoboDock. At issue are robot vacuum cleanerst Roborock S8, S8 Plus, e S8 Pro Ultra with impressive cleaning capabilities and a very similar DNA to Xiaomi with its equivalent products.
Now that the technological event has come to an end, we still have room to introduce these robot vacuum cleaners from one of the most popular cost/benefit brands in the sector.
We have top-of-the-range smart vacuum cleaners here, with several versions to meet different needs and budgets.

The new generation of robot vacuum cleaners from Roborock, a manufacturer that shares many of its products with Xiaomi, now brings us a complete range of home cleaning solutions. The secret? Your self-cleaning and charging dock, the RoboDock.
The base is capable not only of recharging the battery of the robot vacuum cleaner, but also of emptying its waste deposit (garbage). Likewise, you can wash your mop or mop, in addition to being able to fill the water tank for the robot to wash the floor.
The launch of the range Roborock S8 takes place exactly one year after the presentation of the Roborock S7 Max V, also at CES in Las Vegas. Now with the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra model as a flagship or top-of-the-range model with enhanced cleaning capabilities.
More suction power with up to 6000 Pascals in the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Plus robot vacuum includes the conventional cleaning base.
It should be noted that all models in the new Roborock S8 range have more powerful engines, delivering up to 6,000 Pascals of suction power. By way of comparison, the models in the previous range deliver up to 5,100 Pascals, with a noticeable improvement in suction power.
At the same time, we also have a new double brush system, something similar to the one implemented by iRobot in its Roomba, which promises to maximize cleaning efficiency.
In addition, they also promise to reduce the frequency with which fibers, fur and hair become entangled in this central cleaning element, reducing the need for maintenance.

The top model, the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, even manages to raise the main brush by about 6 mm, this to prevent the transfer of dirt when the robot is in use in mop mode.
That is, if we put it to wash the floor, it will slightly retract the central brush used to lift and pick up dirt from the floor, so as not to get the cleaning mop so dirty.
It should also be mentioned that all three models also have mop vibration technology. In practice, your mop vibrates up to 3000 times per second to essentially scrub the floor with micro-vibrations, a technology dubbed VibraRise.
However, only in the most advanced models like the S8 Pro and S8 Pro Ultra do we have VibraRise 2.0, with greater vibration intensity to scrub the floor better.
We look forward to confirming the availability of the new Roborock S8
The new models are available in two color schemes, black and white.
Finally, with the RoboDock base, at the end of the floor cleaning sessions, the mop itself is also washed and ready for the next cleaning round.
Pricing for Roborock robot vacuums starts at 699 € in Europe. The Roborock S8 Plus model will start in the 899 €while the top model, Roborock S8 Ultra will cost from 1 499 € on our continent.
