We Are The Caretakers is an original sci-fi world with an Afrofuturistic vision. The characters, environments, and story combine elements of artificial and organic science fiction. The soundtrack combines epic orchestral sounds, samples of African instruments and modern hip-hop rhythms.
Trouble overtook humanity after the first contact with an alien civilization. Take command as a guide sworn to protect Shadran society and the endangered Raun rhinoceros. Threatened by high-tech poaching factions, the Guardians must take up arms against those who destroy what is left of the Rauns and their home, saving them from extinction and continuing their tradition of guarding Shadra’s most vulnerable layers.
We Are The Caretakers combines real-time strategy, squad management and turn-based combat. Send fully customized overseer squads from over 30 profession classes to the battlefield. Sweep the map and defend the cities while protecting Shadra’s beloved Rawn that roams the fields. Raise Rawn’s special orphaned child who loves Conduit and watch him grow into a force to save his own kind.
Recruit detained poachers, but keep an eye on the reputation of the Rangers: the right decision is not always popular and can complicate future missions.
