Apparently, in Kazakhstan there will be something different. And rightly so.
The other day McDonald’s, the world’s most famous chain of fast food restaurants, announced its withdrawal from the Kazakhstani market. The official reason is a problem with supplies, which was later clarified by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan before the ban by the head office of McDonald’s on the purchase of semi-finished products and meat cutlets in Russia, where the company had a large sorting and production center.
As a result, Food Solutions KZ, the operator of the McDonald’s network in Kazakhstan, will open the former Mac outlets under a different brand, which, apparently, will resume cooperation with Russian suppliers and thereby provide consumers with food. One thing became known today for sure: the Vkusno — i dotka chain operating in Russia and partly in Belarus, which replaced McDonald’s, does not plan to come to Kazakhstan.

A representative of the Russian chain said in an interview with TASS that there were no relevant agreements with Food Solutions KZ. It is important, however, to understand that the absence of plans today does not mean that they will not appear tomorrow. Earlier, Vkusno — i dotka announced plans to expand its activities in the CIS, as well as in non-CIS countries, where McDonald’s was not previously represented.
