Even though the champion for the most popular MOBA game in the world is currently still held by Riot Games with their League of Legends, there are still several areas in the world where it is the competitor from Valve – DOTA 2 who holds a bigger name. One of them? Of course, the Southeast Asian region including Indonesia. The good news? 2023 will be a slightly special year for DOTA 2 gamers in the archipelago. No longer just enjoying it as spectators, we were finally chosen as the host for the closing Major at this year’s DPC.
Following and agreeing with the rumors that had previously circulated, Valve has finally confirmed three Major locations for DPC (Dota Pro Circuit) 2023 which of course will be divided into three different seasons. The Winter Tour will be held in Lima, Peru, while the Spring Tour will end in Berlin, Germany. The cover? Summer Tour which is finally confirmed to be held in Bali, Indonesia. The Bali Major event will be held from 30 June 2023 – 9 July 2023 with IO Esports as the EO in charge.
DOTA 2 Bali Major will be held in June – July 2023.
There is no further information about the ticket availability window and the price that will be set for it. How about you? Interested in attending this one event?
