JBL has unveiled its first turntable with high-quality Bluetooth connectivity with aptX certification for HD audio streaming. The new product was unveiled during the CES 2023 technology event and wins the eye of new vinyl fans.
The name of this turntable? JBL Spinner BT, pragmatic and illustrative nomenclature of product functions that joins its previously announced TT350 Classic. Thus, in this new gadget with a minimalist appearance, we have a very peculiar design.

As we can see from the images, the turntable table is presented in black, quite discreet, with the highlight color being orange, highlighting its disruptive aspect of the Bluetooth connection. In other words, it is more than a traditional turntable, being reformulated for 2023 and for the new market requirements.
The best of everything? This JBL Spinner BT can stream audio to compatible wireless speakers.
That way, all we have to do is place the vinyl record on the platform, connect the wireless speakers, speakers, headphones, Bluetooth headsets, or even a compatible soundbar. Finally, we just have to enjoy the music.
However, we also have the possibility of sending the audio signal to columns and passive loudspeakers that use an external pre-amplification system. It should be noted, however, that the audio sent wirelessly follows the high quality 24-bit standard or Hi-Res.
24-bit Hi Res standard with aptX HD certification
This turntable was not designed to please audio purists. It brings, however, a high quality standard for wireless audio transmission which, for your amateur audiophile, already inspires a good degree of confidence in the delivered sound quality.
However, let’s never forget that if the target device doesn’t support this 24-bit Hi Res standard with aptX HD certification delivered by the source (the turntable), it’s worthless. That is, to take advantage of the best quality, headphones, speakers, speakers or Bluetooth earphones must support at least this same standard or quality standard.

JBL is a brand of the Harman group, making known the new turntable table at CES 2023 with an announced price of 399 dollars for the North American market. It will hit stores in the third quarter of 2023, however, we will also know the price for Europe.
In short, this turntable can be used to deliver audio wirelessly with a Bluetooth 5.2. However, it also supports traditional wired audio output with analog output and built-in phono preamp. As such, the Spinner BT is equally at home with purists who prefer a wired connection.
It should also be noted that the turntable has an MDF plinth to absorb vibrations and includes a hinged cover to protect it from dust and other external agents. We also have the ability to play vinyl records at 33 1/3 or 45 rpm. What’s more, we have a cartridge from Audio Techinca itself, model to be specified.
