Between December and January, the web was able to witness the clash between Logan Paul, content creator and wrestler for WWE, and Coffeezilla over the CryptoZoo issue. Logan Paul’s recent response seemed poised to stoke the fire further but, just days later, the video has been deleted to solve the problem in another way.
Logan Paul’s reaction published on YouTube between January 3 and 4 is now part of the past: the co-founder of PRIME in fact deleted the video a few hours after publication by making a surprising about-face. Contrary to what was promised in the video, namely to take legal action against the investigator Coffeezilla after his investigation into the fraudulent nature of the CryptoZoo NFT project, Paul finally opted for a behind-the-scenes reconciliation process.
Just as Coffeezilla was preparing another video response, Paul called him personally to apologize and, presumably, soon take responsibility for what happened to victims of CryptoZoo: “Hopefully, this time he will take responsibility and reimburse victims of CryptoZoo. That’s what matters,” Coffee wrote on Twitter.
On the CryptoZoo Discord server, therefore, Logan Paul shared his own with users thoughts on the matter: “Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you. I’ve deleted my initial response to the Coffee series. That was rash and misaligned with the real issue so I called him today and apologized…the war is not with Coffee. In fact, I’m grateful that he brought the matter to light. I will take responsibility, apologize and come forward with a plan in the near future. Thank you all for believing in this project and for sticking with me.”
It is currently unclear how Logan Paul intends to proceed with the entire NFT project; in all likelihood he will illustrate future options to his fans on YouTube with another video. However, CryptoZoo’s reputation is set to remain negative.
