Microsoft has not yet announced its game show, which has been rumored for the past few weeks. Today, however, well-known game insider Jez Corden (resource Windows Central) said that he received from his sources information about the event, which is preparing the Xbox team.
Jez Corden’s sources said the Xbox game show will be called Developer_Direct. As part of this show, the Xbox and Bethesda teams will talk about their projects. That being said, don’t expect an event with a lot of announcements, like the big Xbox summer show. As part of Developer_Direct, information on projects for 2023 is expected, while in his note the insider indicates that Redfall, Forza Motorsport and Minecraft Legends are expected to appear on the show. It is noted that “Starfield may not be on this show, for the sake of a wider PR campaign later.”
According to Windows Central, the Xbox Developer_Direct game show will take place as early as January 25, but the date is subject to change.
