Nanoleaf is known for its unique looking smart home products. The new products in their range are compatible with Matter.
There are a lot of product announcements and launches at CES every year and 2023 will be no different. Nanoleaf, the well-known smart home brand, is launching five products with support for Matter.
Sense+ Controls
To begin with, Nanoleaf launches Sense+ Controls. This range includes a number of products, including a plug-in Smart Light switch, a wireless smart switch and the Nala Learning Bridge. These devices have built-in motion and light sensors and will learn your rhythm using the Nala Learning Bridge. That way you can automate your smart home. The Nala Learning Bridge also has a triple function: at night you can use it as a night light that you can change color; for the rest of your smart home equipment, the bridge also acts as a Thread Border Router.
Smart lamps with Matter
In addition, Nanoleaf is launching a new series of lamps. In the Essential series they come with a number of new bulbs: A19, BR30, GU10 and new spots. If you buy one of these new lamps, you are immediately assured that they can communicate with your Matter equipment.
Don’t want to buy new lamps, but still want to enjoy Matter support? Then you are lucky. Nanoleaf will update your lamps in 2023, making them automatically compatible. However, when that update will arrive is still uncertain.

Among the lamps, Nanoleaf is launching a slightly more unique version. Their Skylight is a modular smart lamp for the ceiling. As with other products of the brand, you can arrange the lamps in any way you want. As a user, you also have complete control over where the light should shine. To hang a Skylight above your head, you will have to wait until the third quarter of 2023 – then the lamps will come on the market.
Nanoleaf 4D for TVs
Finally, the smart home brand tries to boost your TV experience. They do that with a camera and an LED strip. You aim the camera at your TV screen and attach the supplied LED strip to the back of your television. Sync+ technology then ensures that the lights are synchronized with what is happening on the TV screen.
You also have the option of connecting your other smart lamps to the 4D kit, so that you can synchronize the entire living room. The kit will be available for 55-65 inch and 70-80 inch TVs. The 4D kit will be on sale from the second quarter of this year.
