January 9th, 2023 at 1:41 p.m. by Jonathan Harsch – Three major releases are scheduled for the coming week on Steam. There should be something for most of them, because a role-playing game, a shooter and a construction simulation provide variety.
2023 has only just begun, but the first high-quality releases are already coming to Steam. If you want, you can start the new year with an anime RPG, a looter shooter or a survival simulation. These are the three most prominent games that will appear on Steam in the coming week (each on January 12th):
Aquatico: Aquatico is a city building sim with a twist, as humanity lives underwater here. After the surface of the earth was made uninhabitable, it is now the task of the people to create a new home on the seabed. This means resources must be mined and more buildings constructed. How skillfully players do this will determine whether a new paradise or a second Rapture is created. Click here for Aquatico’s Steam page.
One Piece Odyssey: The manga and anime series One Piece celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Although there are some video game adaptations of the franchise, none of the titles have really been able to convince the masses so far. That should change with One Piece Odyssey (buy now), which could also attract newcomers thanks to its robust RPG elements. Set sail with Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat gang – at least until the pirates are shipwrecked and separated. Visit the One Piece Odyssey Steam page here.

The Division 2: Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is actually old hat, but was not previously available on Steam. However, the continued success of the platform means that publishers such as Ubisoft have had a rethink and are releasing new titles as well as some older games for Steam. The Division 2 is a looter shooter with PvE and PvP elements. Visit the The Division 2 Steam page here.
