01/09/2023 at 14:00 by Sebastian Glanzer – In Overwatch 2, players can briefly let off steam in a special FFA Deathmatch in which Ultimates are boosted. In addition to the usual rewards, a very special honor awaits a hero.
In Overwatch 2, the Battle of Olympus event has started. In this FFA Deathmatch, you can earn spells and player titles for free, and work towards the legendary skin of Goddess of Victory for Mercy. The special thing about this event is that your ultimates are strengthened by the power of Greek gods.
The hero with the most total kills during the event will be immortalized with a statue on the Ruins of Ilios arena map to commemorate their victory. You can choose which hero is currently leading on the Overwatch 2 Twitter channel follow. The event ends on January 19, 2023.
The special powers in Struggle for Olympus
Ramattra als Poseidon
Divine Annihilation
Ravenous Vortex is a large vortex that pulls enemies in and then throws them into the air. Overwhelm unleashes large bursts of water that deal more damage and have a longer range.
Junker Queen as Zeus
Divine rampage
Lasts 20 sec.Damage dealt by the Bolt Action Shotgun has a chance to grant bonus lightning damage to its abilities.
Reinhardt as Minotaur
Divine Quake
Lasts 20 seconds. Heals when he charges an enemy, knocking them into a wall. The charge can lock up to 3 targets at once. Charge’s cooldown is reduced to 3 seconds. Hitting a wall deals lethal damage , extends divine power and reduces the next cooldown of Onslaught to 0.5 seconds.
Roadhog as Zyklop
Divine meat grinder
Lasts 15 sec.Grows up much larger and gains 600 hit points.Instead of the ultimate’s normal fire mode, you throw rocks that deal high damage.The melee attack deals x5 damage and knocks back enemies.
Pharaoh as Hades
Divine barrage
Lasts 20 sec.You can move during the ultimate ability.The rocket launcher fires triple-headed rockets.VTOL fuel consumption is greatly reduced.Kills heal Pharah and extend the duration of this effect.
Widowmaker as Medusa
Divine Infrasight
While in sniper mode, enemies looking at you will be turned to stone.
