A rumor evokes the upcoming formalization of the new collection of high-end smartphones from Samsung, the Galaxy S23. The manufacturer seems to have spilled the beans on the announcement date on one of its sites.
In 2022, Samsung had chosen the date of February 25 to lift the veil on its range of Galaxy S22 smartphones. The timing was logical, since the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona then took place from February 28 to March 3, thus giving the manufacturer the opportunity to unveil its terminals during the show.
In 2023, the company could presumably change its announcement schedule. This is, in any case, what suggests information published briefly on the Colombian site of Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 formalized from February 1?
The manufacturer’s official website highlighted for a few minutes the date of the Wednesday, February 1, 2023 for the next Galaxy Unpacked event. “Epic moments are approaching”, then announced the Colombian platform of Samsung. Obviously, the announcement was made well before the hour, which prompted the firm to take everything offline without further delay.
This leak of information from an official source, it necessarily makes you want to believe it. Especially since it matches a rumor that has been circulating for many months concerning Samsung’s projects for this year: the manufacturer has been planning for a while now to accelerate the release of its new terminals in 2023.
What can we expect from the Samsung Galaxy S23?
The nature of Samsung’s announcements should not differ from previous years. Three new models are expected this year:
Samsung Galaxy S23Samsung Galaxy S23 +Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra have been the most leaked in the media in recent months, but some contradictory information calls for caution. As for the design of the terminals, they should not change much compared to the references of the S22 range.
Inside, however, there could be something new. In effect, Samsung could drop its Exynos processors in favor of Qualcomm modelswhich would allow models in the Galaxy S23 line to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. A small revolution for the manufacturer, whose performance of the Exynos is frequently criticized and necessarily compared to those of Qualcomm.
As for the photo, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ should follow in the footsteps of the S22 and S22+. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could, for its part, be equipped witha 200 megapixel Isocell photo sensor, which would allow him to take particularly bright night photos. Leaker Ice Universe believes that “the S23 Ultra’s night camera will actually be ‘night vision'”.
I need to emphasize again that the S23 Ultra’s night camera is really “night vision”

According to the visual of Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked, it seems that the photo will be one of the most important topics discussed by the manufacturer. It only remains to wait until a possible officialization of the event: if the date of February 1 is real, the concrete invitations should not be long in coming.
