A new phone from vivo appeared on Geekbench, BIS and Google Play Console at the same time. We are talking about the new vivo Y100 which, according to the listings, will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with a model number MT6877V/ZA.
This octa-core processor has a base frequency of 2.0GHz, with 6 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and another 2 at 2.4GHz. The Dimensity 900 has already been used in vivo devices such as the V25 5G and the T1x. The smartphone will come with Android 13 and has 7.37 GB of available RAM.
In the case of the Google Play Console listing, you can see that the 6-inch screen, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 with 440 PPI. It will also have an OpenGL version of 3.2. Also in the certification, it is possible to have access to a small preview of the device, which must have a notch in the shape of a drop, but it may just be an image to fill the space and not the official one.
On the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website, you can confirm its model number (V2239) and also point out that the launch will be soon in India. Apparently, the vivo Y100 should be a mid-range smartphone, with a powerful processor and a high-resolution screen.
