In the foreseeable future, the Nvidia Ada Lovelace family of graphics cards will be replenished with the GeForce RTX 4070 model. It will be based on a stripped-down version of the AD104 crystal, while the greens plan to release the Founders Edition reference version. Recall that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, released last week, did not receive such a modification.
YouTube channel RedGamingTech managed to get a photo of the GeForce RTX 4070 Founders Edition box. The appearance of the video card is still unknown, however, from the information on the packaging it is known that it has a width of 112 mm (against 137 mm for the RTX 4080 FE) and received a 12VHPWR auxiliary power connector. The package includes an adapter for two 8-pin PCI-E Power.
According to available information, the GeForce RTX 4070 will use the Nvidia AD104 GPU in a configuration with 5888 CUDA cores and a 192-bit memory bus. The video buffer of the device is represented by 12 gigabytes of GDDR6X, and the standard TGP level will be about 200-250 watts. The video card will go on sale during the first half of the year.
