Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola commented on the end of Gareth Bale’s career and spoke about whether he ever tried to sign Bale to one of his teams:
“He was too expensive. What kind of player is this! Fantastic career, many trophies. I think he has over 100 matches for Wales and now he can be an incredible golfer.”
Guardiola has previously advised Chelsea not to sack Graham Potter as head coach.
