Norwegian biathlete Johannes Boe won the individual 20 km race at the World Cup in Ruhpolding, Germany. Despite two misses, he was ahead of teammate Vetle Sjöstad Kristiansen and Slovenian Jakov Fak.
Ukraine in this race was represented by five athletes, four of which got into the points zone. Denis Nasyko was 26th, Artem Tishchenko 28th, Taras Lesyuk 29th, Bogdan Tsymbal 34th. Outside the top 40, only Ruslan Tkalenko finished in 46th place. For Nasyko, this is the first time in his career hitting points at the World Cup.
