The Z Flip range has clearly been designed to appeal to the most nostalgic of flip phones. For this third iteration, the manufacturer has obviously chosen to use this format while improving its hinge and the screen. The first becomes more solid while maintaining a high level of finish. Once opened, we discover a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, Full HD + with 120 Hz maximum refresh rate. The smartphone also has a second screen, which is visible when the flap is folded down and which delivers some practical information such as the time and especially the notifications. It’s not as advanced as the latest Z Flip 4, but it’s still largely useful.
Its format and portability are very significant, once folded, it measures only 72.2 x 86.4 x 17.1 mm. With this configuration, the smartphone is able to run your common tasks without slowing down, whether for web browsing or for demanding 3D games. Only downside, autonomy is not its strong point: with a battery of only 3,300 mAh, the smartphone requires a charge before the end of the day. Moreover, the fast charge does not go beyond 15 W of power.
The Z Flip 3 catches up with the photo part.
