The V15 Detect is designed in the same way as its predecessors, with a stick format that gives it great versatility thanks to the absence of wires and bags. More specifically, it’s a small lens that projects a green light on the ground at an angle of 1.5 degrees, which will help flush out all the dust. Dyson adds a “piezoelectric” sensor, which is responsible for adapting the suction power, depending on the surface (carpet, hard floors, etc.) and the amount of dust to be vacuumed.

This will save a little battery over time. The main brush has been improved: it has small teeth so that hair and fur no longer get stuck, and to no longer regularly remove tangled hair around the central brush, especially when you have animals. On the performance side, the V15 Detect’s motor performs up to 125,000 revolutions per minute to generate strong suction power and ensure efficient cleaning. All of this is coupled with minimal noise compared to other vacuum cleaners.

As for autonomy, you can vacuum for 60 minutes with the eco mode, which will leave plenty of time to get rid of all the dust and the like. Of course, this time will vary depending on the chosen suction mode. Once your vacuuming session is over, all you have to do is hang the Dyson on its wall-mounted docking station.
