January 12th, 2023 at 3:21 p.m. by Rhonda Bachmann – While 2022 was still the year for open-world RPGs and action games, 2023 will finally have some interesting shooters waiting for fans again. The journalists at PC Gamer have compiled a list of upcoming first-person shooters with games to watch this year.
2022 was a year for open-world RPGs like From Software’s Elden Ring or the next-gen update for The Witcher 3, released on December 14th. In addition, the sequel God of War: Ragnarök often made action fans’ eyes shine. What was seen less often despite the quite successful Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 2022 were first-person shooters. However, this appears to be changing in 2023.
2023 could be a good year for shooters
PC Gamer journalists have compiled a list of some interesting games scheduled for release in 2023. In addition to Bethesda’s open-world RPG Starfield, which has already been postponed several times and which is really supposed to be released this year, there is a whole range of exciting shooters that want to sweeten the upcoming year for gamers.
