The Kalashnikov Concern decided to sum up the results of the past year, and from them it follows that in 2022 the company fulfilled 45 contracts under the state defense order, as well as 24 contracts through military-technical cooperation. In general, the growth in the production of military and small arms civilian weapons amounted to 40% compared to 2021, thus becoming a record for the last twenty years.
As specified, in 2022, in addition to the production of weapons lines of previous years, the concern mastered the production of five new products, including the Chuvavin sniper rifle (SVCh), the Kalashnikov AK-19 assault rifle of NATO caliber 5.56 mm, the Kalashnikov submachine gun PPK-20, and also hunting self-loading carbines “Saiga-9” and TR3 – both in the version with elements of the EVO (AK-EVO – the initiative program of “Kalashnikov” to finalize small arms based on AK).
