The history of Children of Silentown revolves around Lucy, who grows up in a village surrounded by deep forests full of monsters, and tries to uncover the mysteries around her. During the day, Lucy spends time with her friends or helping her mother. But in the night she is plagued by terrible nightmares and she hears an eerie growling from outside the village. She is sure: The darkness is full of terrible dangers and she must not enter the forest under any circumstances. However, when a tragic event occurs, she has no choice but to face the forest and her fears.
Children of Silentown is a hand-drawn, gritty point-and-click adventure with a unique, chilling style and atmospheric music set in a hauntingly beautiful world. Players find messages, collect items, combine them to solve puzzles, and play minigames to uncover the mysteries of Silentown and the forest. Learning songs is important for communicating with others, advancing in the game, and influencing Lucy’s story and the game’s ending.
Children of Silentown was released yesterday for all current consoles.
