Attention Gears of War fans! Microsoft is said to be still working on a Gears of War Collection.
The rumor mill is not simmering too tightly in the new year either, and so it became known that Microsoft is allegedly working on a Gears of War Collection in which the first parts are to be remastered.
Rumors of a Gears of War Collection have been around for a long time, and it wasn’t until early 2022 that Gears of War could get similar treatment to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Even we actively supported the call for a Marcus Fenix Collection and repeatedly called it to mind in our discussions with Aaron Greenberg and other Microsoft officials.
While things have been pretty quiet about a Gears of War 6 part at the moment, Microsoft is already preparing a lot more in the background. A card game is to be released in 2023, and Netflix is preparing a series and a film for it.
So a Remaster Collection would be perfect in 2024 as a transition and bridge to Gears of War 6 in 2025. Or what do you mean?
