The month of February is upon us and, as everyone knows, that will be the moment of truth for one of the most interesting videogame productions of 2023: Hogwarts Legacy. As launch day approaches, though, Warner Bros. just released a few information about the graphics modes of the game.
A few hours after the release of the minimum, high, ultra and ultra 4k requirements for Hogwarts Legacy on PC, further details have arrived about the Avalanche Software production: the next-gen version of Hogwarts Legacy on consoles will support different graphics modes. This is news that will surely delight the fans who eagerly await this new gaming experience, which can be played in different performance modes.
According to the Warner Bros. site itself, there will be a Fidelity mode at 30 FPS and a Performance mode at 60 FPS. However, these are just some of the different modes featured in the game, which will ensure that your adventure is customized also according to the technical needs of each player. At first glance it would therefore seem that there are further intermediate compromises between high visual quality and high performance, although it is not known with certainty to what extent this will happen.
However, again from the publisher’s official page, another important information emerges for players: owners of a TV or monitor with a variable refresh rate will be able to access the functions of the VRR. Therefore, even in Hogwarts Legacy it will be possible to play with the VRR which, also in this case, will be supported by the latest generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
That of Hogwarts Legacy it would seem to be a videogame experience with high potential, which could also satisfy the expectations of users who are looking for technological avant-garde from the productions arriving on the latest generation consoles. The future work of Avalanche Software will also aim for portability, thanks to the perfect compatibility of Hogwarts Legacy with Steam Deck.
