Sony released a new firmware update for PlayStation 5, which adds support for a new custom premium controller DualSense Edge. The global release of the latter will take place on January 26.
In addition, the new firmware, as is often the case with system updates, improves the performance of the console. Specific improvements have not yet been reported.
Returning to the DualSense Edge, we recall that the controller was officially presented on opening ceremony gamescom 2022. Users can remap and deactivate certain buttons, adjust the scope, adjust sensitivity, and adjust dead zones. Press reviews of the DualSense Edge can be found here.
