Studio Gaggle announced a new achievement for her social detective Goose Goose Duck. AT Steam and over 800 thousand simultaneous players were recorded on mobile devices. It is easy to understand that the real audience is much larger, because players kill about nine million geese per day.
To celebrate this success, and in the run-up to the Lunar New Year, the developers retooled the recently released Ancient Sands map, added new mechanics and cosmetic items, and introduced two new playable roles.
All maps now have options for the Esper Goose, which kills with its psychic abilities, and the Stalker Goose, which can distinguish between disguised geese. And on the Ancient Sands map, players can become a warlock, ranger, or brownie, able to open doors from both sides.
Today Goose Goose Duck kicks off a new in-game event dedicated to the Lunar New Year. Its participants can earn unique rewards and collectible tokens for the machine.
