Defender “Dynamo” Ilya Zabarny spoke about the start of preparations for the second part of the season, the first day of work and his vacation:
– I spent my vacation in Ukraine, had time to rest, recover – everything is fine. I went to the mountains, and also worked independently in order to properly prepare for training camps. I think I got the best shape for this period.
– And how did you spend New Year’s holidays?
– Quietly, in the family circle, it was important to spend time together. As for the gifts, I got what I wanted, I can’t say anything special.
– Did your independent work include the implementation of an individual program that coaches usually give you before starting a vacation?
– Oh sure. And besides that, I also came to the base to work with the ball. In a word, everything is traditional – such work is needed to prepare yourself for the big loads that will be at the training camp. Thanks to this, it should be easier in Turkey.
– How do you behave during air raids?
– We go to the shelter, because we need to take care of our safety, and in general, it’s calmer this way. We have an underground parking in our house, so we are waiting for the air raid there.
– How are the first days of work after leaving the vacation?
– We have two training sessions. Before leaving for Turkey, there will be a lot of running work in order to gain the necessary physical shape and condition, and we will probably meet less with the ball at the first stage of preparation.
– What are your expectations from the collection? In your opinion, will it pass as usual, or will it be different in some way?
– I expect it to be heavy. I would like to approach the second part of the Ukrainian championship in the best possible condition, so you need to take the work very responsibly and with great desire, so that when the season resumes, you can achieve maximum results on the field.
– You will be able to focus only on the championship, how difficult, in your opinion, will be its second part?
– Naturally, we focus only on the first place, and we will fight for it. I think no one doubts that the championship will be very interesting, I hope we win it.
