In the last few hours, some details have emerged regarding the alleged accusation of domestic violence brought against Justin Roilanda character known to the public for having contributed to the creation of the well-known animated series Rick & Morty and the recently released video game entitled High On Life.
To bring out the case, dating back to January 2020, is NBC Newswhich appears to have got its hands on some documents of the Orange County Superior Courti.e. the California court. In that period, in fact, it seems that Roiland was accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend, with whom he lived. Apparently, after the accusation made by Roiland’s old girlfriend, this would have been sooner arrested in May 2020 and then released in August of the same year, following the payment of a bail equal to $50,000. In October 2020, the court found the man not guilty, although the legal wrangling continued for some time, leading the judges to remove Roiland’s firearms and prevent him from being in close range of the girl until October 2023.
Not the process is about to resume and it cannot be excluded that the situation could turn against man. At the moment the woman’s name is unknown and not even the most specific details of the case are known, of which perhaps we will know more in the coming weeks.
