The creator of Rick and Morty finds himself in the sauce
We owe Rick and Morty to Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Currently, it is the second character of this duo who is in the news. The NBC News site states that the director is charged with domestic violence and forcible confinement by a California court. The facts date back to 2020 with a woman he was dating at the time, according to a complaint filed in May of the same year. He had pleaded not guilty at the time, and a preliminary hearing was held on Thursday. A protection order was filed in October 2020. It states that Justin Roiland must not harass, threaten or monitor the named person, in addition to not being able to approach him within 30m. He must also return any firearm he owns or possesses. All these instructions are valid until October 2023. The sequel will be written next April with an upcoming hearing which Roiland has been ordered to attend. His lawyer said in 2020 that his client was innocent, and was eager to clear his name to help him move forward.
