In total, according to the information available to the publication, twelve tanks will be transferred: four of them “immediately”, and the other eight – shortly after the first delivery.
The Challenger 2 is the main battle tank of the British Army. It is important to remember that the countries of the collective West are reluctant to make decisions on the supply of NATO-style tanks, since they are fundamentally different from Soviet / Russian-style tanks, are more whimsical in use, demanding on maintenance, use a different type of shells, and also require a long process of crew retraining.
