A Mero insider on the Discord channel revealed that the following 4-star characters will be featured in the banner with Xiao and al-Haytham in the first phase of update 3.4 for Genshin Impact: Yao Yao (Dendro, spear), Yun Jin (Geo, spear) and Xin Yang (Pyro, two-handed sword).
On the same day, Niana’s informant posted several frames from an animated video, which, apparently, will be shown as part of the upcoming Sea Lantern Festival. It is noted that the first picture depicts: the goddess of dust Gui Zhong, a close friend of Zhong Li, who died during the war of the Archons, and adept Madam Ping in her youth.
In the last screenshot, Gai Zhong can be seen talking nicely with Zhong Li again. In the foreground, the human form of the Guardian of the Clouds is shown. Apparently, the developers still decided to take the first version of the adept’s design with closed shoulders. The Guardian of the Clouds himself is rumored to not be appearing at the festival this year, but it could be next year.
