President of FC Shakhtar Rinat Akhmetov commented on the transfer of Mikhail Mudrik to London Chelsea.
“I have ambivalent feelings: in order to win European trophies, I have to invite footballers like Mudrik to our club, to our Ukrainian championship, and not see them off to the best championships and the best clubs in the world.
However, I am convinced that Mikhail, with his speed, his technique, his bright beautiful game, will win the respect, sympathy and love of all world football fans,” Akhmetov said.
The Shakhtar website reports that the Pitmen will receive 70 million euros for the player and another 30 million euros are provided as bonuses.
