The Skyblivion project, which is a fan-made recreation of The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion in The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim engine, has been going on for so long that it was assumed that we would never see it in its final form. In fairness, little has changed with regard to Skyblivion today, except that the developers announced a very blurry release “window” – 2025 – which may change more than once.
Enthusiasts understand that players are not just tired of waiting, but have naturally grown old over the years that they are waiting for Skyblivion, but game development, especially when it is done by a small group of fans in their spare time, takes time. However, to date, the process has already reached the point where it can be stated that the final version of the project is taking on a visible shape, and its release will take place in 2025.

It is hard to say why in 2025 a project on such an outdated engine will be needed, but since enthusiasts have taken it up, it must be completed to the end – this approach in itself is worthy of respect.
