Amelia Gething, the voice actor for the female protagonist of Hogwarts Legacy, has now opened up about her role in the game on Instagram. Two ways were also revealed how your own character can find his inglorious end.
As the release of Hogwarts Legacy approaches, the voice actors who will provide voice acting for the game’s many characters will also be revealed. Sebastian Croft will lend his voice to the male protagonist, while Amelia Gething will take on the role of the female magician’s student. In her announcement, Gething also revealed two ways your character can die in the game.
Of dragon kebabs and broomstick accidents
Amelia Gething announced via Instagram that she will lend her voice to the female protagonist in “Hogwarts Legacy”. Gething is a British actress whose credits include period drama ‘The Spanish Princess’ and the 2022 biography ‘Emily’. Sebastian Croft is known from the Netflix productions “Love, Death & Robots” and “Heartstopper” and will set the male magician to music.
In her Instagram post, Gething revealed that she’s been working on Hogwarts Legacy for the past three years. “Get a copy of the game if you want to hear me get fried by a dragon or fall to my inevitable death by a broomstick,” the actress said. On Reddit, users wondered how their own character could fall off the broom since the magic sport of Quidditch isn’t part of the game. The length of the dubbing work also leads players to assume that Hogwarts Legacy will contain a lot of spoken dialogue.

Amelia Gething and Sebastian Croft aren’t the only voice actors revealed for Hogwarts Legacy this week. Recently it became known that the well-known actor Simon Pegg the role of Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black takes over. According to Pegg, the character is said to be neither a good teacher nor a dedicated principal. “He’s actually quite an idiot,” revealed Simon Pegg in a video.
