In fact, several of the current models in the POCO X4 range continue to be excellent buys this new year. Proof of this is the fact that we now have some equipment from this sub-brand of Xiaomi under test, with very positive performance.
For all that has now been exposed, it is only natural that expectations are high for his successors. According to the latest leaks, Xiaomi is actually ready to unveil the POCO X5 PRO 5G flagship in the coming weeks.

Interestingly, in a world full of information leaks, these Xiaomi cost / benefit mobile phones have remained surprisingly discreet. Nevertheless, we do have some convincing details with some of the product’s “specs”.
Firstly, the POCO X5 PRO 5G will have an AMOLED screen with high resolution, Full-HD+ standard, as well as a high image refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The exact dimensions of the panel are, at the moment, one of several unknowns.
The photographic department will also include improvements. In particular, we will now have a 108 MP main sensor with wide-angle optics.

Get ready for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor, mid/high range SoC for POCO X5 Pro. This “heart” will deliver great performance if Xiaomi does not fail in the already traditional optimization of its software with MIUI 14, based on Google’s Android 13.
We will also have a high-capacity battery with 5,000 mAh and fast charging up to 67 W of power. What’s more, we have dual speakers for a better multimedia experience and stereo audio.
The connectivity options of this Xiaomi POCO X5 Pro also include NFC and access to fifth generation mobile networks. That is, it will be another affordable (and powerful) model with 5G.
There is also an indication of at least 8 GB of RAM, as well as up to 256 GB of internal storage. It is possible, or even extremely likely, that the brand will make more variants available with different memory configurations once the phone hits the market.
Quality / price ratio will dictate the success of the POCO X5 Pro 5G
In short, the POCO X5 Pro 5G will essentially be the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition with a different name and possibly some changes to the Android smartphone design.
