Pedro Pascal (“The Mandalorian”) and Bella Ramsay (“Game of Thrones”) played the main roles in the film adaptation of The Last of Us. The showrunner of the project will be Craig Mazin, known for Chernobyl.
The first season of the show will follow the plot of the original with minor changes. The events of the series will unfold in a post-apocalyptic world. The protagonist Joel receives an order to escort the girl Ellie from one end of the country to the other.
The premiere of the first episode is expected on January 15, 2023. The first season will have nine episodes.
