To start the preload on the mobile version of Genshin Impact it is necessary to start the game and go to the settings menu, which can be reached by first clicking on the head-shaped icon in the upper left corner and then selecting the a gear shape. Now select the item Resourceslook for ‘Preinstall resource pack’ and click on ‘Pre-install now’. You will thus be returned to the main screen, where the package containing all the files for the next update will be downloaded. The PC version is preloaded via the client. For the uninitiated, there is no way to pre-download the next update files to Sony consoles.
