Game news Hogwarts Legacy: cross-media players will be disappointed and the limited number of characters will not help!

It was via Twitter that Warner recently filled up on information for the highly anticipated Hogwarts Legacy. Backup, cross-platform, HUD… We summarize everything you need to remember.
Display, save… What we know
Recently, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy has unveiled its technical specifications. To add a layer, the Twitter account @WBGamesSupport decided to tell us a little more about the capabilities of the title. We know in particular that the game will adapt to PC configurations with an Ultrawide screen. Also note that you won’t have to wait for the game to be released on Nintendo Switch to enjoy the adventure in a portable version, since Hogwarts Legacy will be compatible with the Steam Deck. As for the display, the screen should be modular with the possibility of removing many HUD elements such as damage or outlines of objects/enemies. And graphically speaking, the game will offer four different Global Quality Presets, knowing that you can directly adjust the rendering of textures, distance or even crowds.
Other big information: the game will not cross-save. This means that it will not be possible to start the game on PC and finish your game on PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo once these versions are released. And since we are talking about backup, also note that it will be possible to create four different characters in Hogwarts Legacy. Each will have 5 autosave slots and 10 manual save slots. On the other hand, Warner persists and signs: Hogwarts Legacy will be a solo game. But the CM assured that he would pass the idea on to the developers. Suffice to say that the subject is not completely closed, although the arrival of an online mode is still unlikely. Other elements still remain unresolved.
New Game+, DLC… Outstanding questions
The questions were numerous and concerned various subjects, sometimes even elements on which Warner does not wish to communicate for the moment. The account was thus evasive concerning a potential photo mode or the possibility of launching a New Game+, inviting players to closely monitor the site and the networks dedicated to the game. We can therefore expect a confirmation shortly. Just as we now know that the release time of the title will be revealed shortly before February 10.
The turn of phrase is on the other hand less certain concerning possible DLC to come. Warner tells us “to have no information regarding upcoming features or possible DLC”. Same for the consequences of the Avada Kedavra spell in the story, the possibility of swimming or the impact of our choice of house on our relationships with teachers and/or comrades. While some tend to say that Hogwarts Legacy has shown us a lot, the game still has many things to reveal and clarify to us. In view of Avalanche’s communication strategy, we suspects that the studio has at least one or two big announcements in store for us before the title is released. Also note that as of this writing, the @WBGamesSupport account is still responding to questions. Don’t hesitate to take a look on their Twitter to find out the other little information or ask your question. For the rest, we will have to wait for the release of the game or the first echoes.
