Today, Sega released another video of the upcoming action game Like a Dragon: Ishin!, which is finally releasing in North America and Europe, fulfilling years of requests from fans of the Yakuza series.
In today’s video, we’ll see a conversation between Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Head Masayoshi Yokoyama and Hideo Nakano, who shares his impressions of the game’s extremely expansive scenario and the reaction of fans both in Japan and in the west. In the remake, Nakano-san replaced Katsunori Takahashi as Takechi Hanpeita. Interestingly, Nakano-san and Katsunori Takahashi are old friends, so there is no sense of rivalry between them. Nakano thinks his predecessor’s game was excellent, and despite the remake, the original is still accessible and not going anywhere (at least for Japanese fans):
