According to Blizzard, the first content of phase 2 of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic should land on the live servers today, January 16, 2023 (unfortunately, when exactly in our region is not known). You can expect not only Ulduar and the Argent tournament in Icecrown, but also various changes for the loot and the emblems. As far as the last two points are concerned, we will bring you up to date again below.

This changes with the emblems
Phase 2 brings new Emblems of Conquest to the existing Emblems of Heroism and Emblems of Honor. The exciting question now is, of course, which activities can you use to earn the three emblems?
Emblems of Conquest can be obtained from all bosses in Ulduar and through the daily “Proof of Death” Heroic Dungeons quests. You’ll also find the new Emblems in the bags given upon first clearing a Titan Rune dungeon of the day.Emblems of Honor can be obtained with Stage 2 from all bosses in Heroic Dungeons and through the “Timear Prophesies…” daily quests received for normal dungeons. Furthermore, these emblems drop in the raid instances of phase 1. Emblems of heroism can no longer be obtained from bosses in heroic dungeons from phase 2 onwards. However, you can exchange Emblems of Conquest or Honor for Emblems of Heroism at a moneychanger in Dalaran like Usuri Coinglow in the Magiccrow Inn in the Underbelly. Additionally, various Northrend quests will continue to reward you with Emblems of Heroism.

What changes with phase 2 in the loot?
The new phase of WotLK Classic is really messing up the Northrend loot. Not only are new content coming into play like the Titan Rune Dungeons and Ulduar, Blizzard developers are also changing the loot lists from the Phase 1 content.
Normal dungeons will continue to drop normal dungeon loot.Heroic dungeons will continue to drop hero dungeon loot.In the new Titan Rune mode of Northrend Heroic Dungeons, in addition to hero dungeon loot, you can also loot epic items from the 10-player -Received raids from phase 1. The 213 loot from Kel’Thuzad, Malygos and Sartharion only drops from the final bosses. In the 10-player version of Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum and Eye of Eternity, the loot from the respective 25-player counterparts drops. In the 25- Player versions of Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum, and Eye of Eternity will drop the original loot while earning more loot per kill than previously.
