AirTag is one of Apple’s hottest products in recent times. It’s a device to monitor your objects, ideal for people who are distracted or afraid of losing something valuable.
As is now advanced by the leaker Missal Rahman on Twitter, Google will be working on its alternative for this market segment. Although development is still at an early stage.

The device in question has several code names: “grogu”, “grogouaudio” and “GR10”. And, according to what is known, it will have support for UWB and BLE.
Google should make its ‘AirTag’ available in several colors
In order to make it easier to be found, it will have a small built-in speaker, similar to the AirTag. And if Apple’s alternative is available in white, Google’s should be sold in multiple colors.

What is not known is what the design of the product will be, and when it will be released. Happening in 2023, it could be during the first half of the year at Google I/O or just in October when the Pixel 8 arrives.
Bearing in mind that Apple launched the product first, Google already has a way to look seriously at what can go well or badly in terms of security. So you can bring a more polished and safe product.
