January 17th, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. by Susanne Braun – With a probability of 1 in a stately 4.6 million (according to their own statement), two Pokémon trainers have probably had the happiest Pokémon exchange of all time in Pokémon Go – both players received trading (without Lucky Trading!) a Lucky Pokémon as Shundo – a Shiny 100% IV Pokémon! If nothing congratulations are appropriate!
Something happened to two Pokémon Go trainers that, according to the self-calculated probability of Pokémon Go fans, only happens once every 4.6 million (!) trades: They traded two Shiny Pokemon as a non-lucky trade and each got a Shundo, so a Shiny Pokémon with the perfect 100% IV. According to Pokémon Go Hub’s kittypokemonsalot, nothing like this has happened under the circumstances in Pokémon Go’s seven-year run.
Shiny Lavados and Shiny Iscalar save the day
Pokémon Go trainers Marcello and Gareth Morton shared their happiness with players via Instagram. Marcello from London shows a screenshot of both Trainers’ Pokémon, a Shiny Iscalar and a Shiny Lavados, both reaching 100% IV.

What’s gripping about this is that Marcello says it’s not a lucky swap. The two trainers ran a normal special trade, common to Legendaries and Shinys, and mostly limited to one per day (depending on the season in Pokémon Go). With a lucky swap, there would at least be an assurance that the Pokémon being traded wouldn’t fall below the 12/12/12 stats. In the case of a normal exchange, on the other hand, this guarantee is not given.
