Including the remake of Silent Hill 2, which is currently being developed by the creators of Bloober Team. But why did Konami actually decide to remake part 2 and thus skip the original? Producer Motoi Okamoto has now provided an answer in an interview with IGN Japan.

If we want to revive Silent Hill , we have to redefine our identity as a brand, sharpen it and differentiate it.” says Motoi Okamoto in an interview. That’s why they consulted internally at Konami, what actually is the identity of Silent Hill.
