publishing house Forever Entertainment and studio MegaPixel announced a new release The House of the Dead: Remake. The remake of the iconic rail shooter is coming to PlayStation 5 on January 20.
As we remember, the updated version of the game was first released on the Nintendo Switch, its premiere took place in April 2022. After that, versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia were released. And last fall, the game was released on the Xbox Series.
The original The House of the Dead was released in 1997 on arcade machines. The updated version retains the original gameplay, but includes graphical improvements, redesigned controls, and added modern mechanics.
In the PlayStation 5 version, graphics and performance are adapted to the console’s capabilities. Players will be able to take advantage of local multiplayer, photo mode, and an armory with unlockable weapons. In the final, we are waiting for several options for different endings.
