01/17/2023 at 21:23 by Norbert Rätz – Also this year, Blizzard is releasing an exclusive mount to celebrate the Chinese New Year, which is inspired by the country’s horoscope. You can find out here how you can get Jade, the radiant clairvoyant and its classic offshoot Höpple!
The Chinese New Year is celebrated extensively every year as it is the most important festival in the country. The 2023 New Year begins on Sunday, January 22nd and ends on February 9th, 2024. According to the Chinese horoscope, the Year of the Water Rabbit follows directly after the Year of the Water Tiger (2022), in which Blizzard releases the Tiger Wen Lo and ends with the year of the wood dragon(!) (2024).
The rabbit is the fourth of twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac. The rabbit sign is a symbol of longevity, peace and prosperity in Chinese culture. 2023 should be a year of hope.

Today, in celebration of the Year of the Water Rabbit, Blizzard introduced Jade, the Radiant Psychic, a brand new mount for your collection. The new addition, which will not only get hunter players teary-eyed, is available for 25 euros directly in the in-game shop or in the Blizzard Shop. Get it for free when you subscribe to World of Warcraft (buy now) for 6 months (Note: Players who currently have a 6-month subscription that renews at a future date will receive Jade at no additional cost). Once you purchase a 6-month subscription from the Blizzard Shop, Jade will automatically be added to your in-game mount collection. However, keep in mind that the mount is not available in World of Warcraft Classic. For Classic players, there is a cute rabbit pet called ‘Höpple’ instead (see the picture gallery above). Click here to order a subscription in the Blizzard shop.
