This Tuesday, Apple made a surprise launch of Mac products. The Cupertino manufacturer took the opportunity to present the new M2 Pro and M2 Max processors, with superior performance.
Linked to these, new products necessarily arrive. The highlight goes, of course, to the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, which may be equipped with M2 Pro and M2 Max. But the Mac mini, now with M2 or M2 Pro, also has a very special corner in the hearts of Apple fans.
In times of inflation, one would think that the prices of new models would rise (as it happened with the iPhone). It turns out to be accurate with the MacBook Pro, but not with the Mac mini.
14-inch MacBook Pro starts at €2499. 16-inch model starts at €3099
Let’s start with the 14-inch MacBook Pro. This one starts now 2499 € (previously it started at €2349). It arrives equipped with M2 Pro and, in the base version, with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Users who want the variant with M2 Max will have to pay from 3569 €.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro now starts at €3099 (previously €2849), with an M2 Pro processor. It also has, in this variant, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Anyone opting for the base version of M2 Max will have to make the jump to 32 GB of RAM, paying from 3789 €.
Mac mini now starts at €729 in UK
In the case of the Mac mini, the story is a little different. If the model with M1 started at €819, the new model with M2 can be purchased from €729, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The big news is that the Mac mini is also now available with an M2 Pro processor, starting at €1579. It should be noted that this version already comes from the base with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
